   The Consul-General of Japan in Karachi, Mr Akira Ouchi made an official visit to Quetta, Balochistan from September 15 to 16, 2015.
It was his third
official visit to Quetta.

   On September 15, Mr. Akira Ouchi paid a courtesy call on Chief Minister Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch. During the meeting, they exchanged
views on topics
of mutual interests and discussed the ways forward to strengthen the friendly relationship between Japan and Pakistan.

  On the same day, the Handover Ceremony for “The Project for the Provision of Ambulances to Jam-e-Shafa Organization”, was held at Pak-Japan
Cultural Center in Quetta, with the presence of Consul-General Mr.Akira Ouchi, Lt.General(Retd) Muhammad Ishaq, Chief Executive Officer of
Jam-e-Shafa Organization, Mr.Parvez Ghias, Chief Executive Officer of Indus Motors Company Limited, Mr.Keiichi Murakami,
Vice Chairman of
Indus
Motors Company Limited, and Syed Nadeem Shah, Honorary Consul General of Japan in Quetta. The two ambulances were handed over to
the
organization.

  On September 16, Consul-General Mr. Ouchi delivered a lecture at Sardar Bahadur Khan (SBK) Women’s University on “Bilateral Relations between
Japan and Pakistan”
. Over 600 students and faculty members of the University attended the lecture. The audience keenly listened to Mr. Ouchi’s lecture.
