1. Position: Political, Cultural and Public Affairs Assistant
2. Key responsibilities include the followings but not limited to:
- Create daily political summary of major Pakistan news.
- Analyze and brief on the situation in Pakistan regarding domestic and foreign affairs.
- Media coordination and liaison with media house.
- Support organizing and coordinating cultural events such as film screenings, concerts, art exhibitions, Japanese language speech contests, etc. (conducting all logistical arrangements, including securing venues, serving as liaison with partner organizations, coordinating event publicity, etc.).
- Prepare press releases in English and Urdu, draft speech, and talking points, and schedule appointments for diplomats.
- Carry out other logistical and administrative duties as assigned.
3. Requirements:
- University degree or higher (Political Science and International Relation majors are preferable).
- Preference will be given to the candidates with an experience of studying abroad.
- High proficiency in both spoken and written English and Urdu is must. Excellent skills in English to Urdu translation and vice-versa.
- Ability to properly summarize, analyze, and explain articles or texts about political domain in English and Urdu (possess an objective point of view).
- A person with a passion for Japanese culture.
- Japanese is not a must but preferable (English and Urdu will be tested).
- Excellent organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Responsible figure with high integrity and honesty.
- Proficiency in computer skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
