Pakistan Travel Mart 2019, at the Expo Center in Karachi

On October 8th, 2019, the Consulate-General of Japan in Karachi participated in Pakistan Travel Mart 2019, at the Expo Center in Karachi, in the first of a three-day exhibition.
Facilitating intercultural understanding between Japan & Pakistan, the Consulate showcased various Japanese cultural artifacts, as well as provided information to Pakistani citizens wishing to travel to Japan. A survey was also conducted to better understand the travel needs of Pakistani citizens & families.
Mr. Toshikazu Isomura, Consul-General of Japan in Karachi, participated in Pakistan Travel Mart on the 10th of October, where he himself, along with his staff, prepared Takoyaki, popular Japanese street food snacks, for visitors to the stall.
Consul-General Isomura took the opportunity on this auspicious occasion to reiterate his delight in sharing with the people of Pakistan the customs & culture of Japan.
