Karachi - The Consulate-General of Japan in Karachi proudly announces that Mr. Muhammad Azmat Shigeyuki Ataka, the First Vice President of the Pakistan-Japan Cultural Association (PJCA) Sindh, has been awarded the Foreign Minister’s Commendation for his exceptional contributions to promoting Japan-Pakistan relations.
During the awarding ceremony, Consul General HATTORI Masaru congratulated Mr. Muhammad Azmat Shigeyuki Ataka, on receiving the Foreign Minister’s Commendation Award. Recognized for his lifelong dedication to promoting Japanese culture in Pakistan, Mr. Ataka has played a pivotal role in popularizing Japanese Haiku and Waka by creatively integrating them with local traditions such as Mushaira and Raag.
