Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) 4th December 2022

The Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) is held worldwide annually to evaluate the level proficiency of non-native speakers in Japanese language. The Japan Foundation works with local host institutions to administer the test outside Japan. In Pakistan, National University of Modern Languages (NUML) in collaboration with MEXT Alumni Association of Pakistan (MAAP), and the Embassy of Japan, Islamabad arrange the JLPT in Islamabad to facilitate the Japanese Language speakers living in and around the capital. The test is simultaneously held at Japan Information & Cultural Centre, Consulate General of Japan in Karachi with the collaboration of Pakistan Japan Cultural Association (PJCA).
Registration for the JLPT to be held in Karachi will be open from 18^th August to 1^st September 2022.
The test in Karachi will be held at the Japan Information and Culture Center on Sunday, 4^th December, 2022.
Please note, we reserve the right to cancel the examinations in the case of any unforeseen events.

Step 2: In person Registration: 1^st September (Thursday) 
The selected candidates will be informed through WhatsApp to visit our location along with original documents and fee.
In accordance with following the SOPs, We has limited space and applicants will receive priority on the basis of first come first serve basis. Please note, this whole process needs to be completed by 1^st September for it to be further processed by the authorities and no extension will be given.
In the case of any confusion, feel free to contact us for clarification.

• Applicant must be in principle a non-native speaker of the Japanese language.
• Applications are open from 18^th to 30^th August 2022.
• APPLICATION FORM FEE: PKR 100 (in cash only).
• TEST FEE:
• For levels 1 & 2: PKR.700 (in cash only).
• For levels 3, 4 & 5: PKR. 600 (in cash only).
• COLOURED PHOTOGRAPHS 02 of applicant not more than 6 months old (3cm x 3cm in size).
