Seminar on “Studying in Japan” by Kake Educational Institution

On February 26, 2020, the largest educational group in Japan since 1961, Kake Educational Institution Okayama organized a “Study in Japan” seminar at Consulate-General of Japan in Karachi.

The Chief Guest present at the seminar was the senior vice Minister (former), Ministry of Foreign of Affairs Japan, Mr. Shozo Azuma who expressed his admiration of Pakistan for its hospitality.

The guest speaker, Director Kake Educational, Mr. Fumitsugu Otsugu gave a very detailed presentation on distance learning. He then mentioned that they have observed Pakistani students to be hardworking, friendly, and very easy to teach to and are looking forward to having more such students.

According to the organizers, Namiki Gakuen High School Hiroshima Japan offers a distance learning program for Pakistani youth who are interested in studying, living and working in Japan. This correspondence course is first of its kind and affordable for students.

During studies, the students are expected to go to Japan for 10 days, twice a year, in order to achieve the credit hours essential for this course. Upon completion of the three years diploma, the students are eligible to get admissions in Japanese universities or apply for a job in Japan very smoothly.

Consul-General of Japan, Mr. ISOMURA Toshikazu ended the program by mentioning the significance of learning Japanese and how this could open up different opportunities for the youth.
