Japanese Calendar Exhibition held at Jamshoro, Sindh

On April 22, 2019, Consul-General of Japan in Karachi, Mr. Toshikazu Isomura, visited Sindh University, Jamshoro for the Calendar Exhibition 2019.

The event started off with a warm welcome by the Monbukagakusho Alumni Association of Pakistan (MAAP) members and university personnel. Every calendar was carefully displayed in the hall of the Institute of Arts & Design for the viewers to grasp a glimpse of Japan.

In his opening speech, Mr. Isomura talked about the hospitality of the university and how this is starting to become an annual event. He believes the calendars would spark an interest in students in understanding the changing seasons of Japan and the aesthetically pleasing landscapes.

President of MAAP, Mr. Wazir Ali Baloch, expressed his interest in Japanese culture and how he would want Pakistani students to visit Japan and experience its beauty. He also mentioned that such calendars would assist students in learning different techniques of printing style.
